Founded over 25 years ago, the highly-decorated Anguilla National Culinary Team competes at international food and beverage events including the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s annual Taste of the Caribbean and Miami 305. 

Alumni have worked in elite kitchens around the world and now run and own many of the island’s top restaurants. Chefs George Reid, Dale Carty, and Vernon Hughes and Master Bartender Ron Webster have created continuing legacies on the culinary scene in Anguilla.

2010 saw Anguilla dominate the Taste of The Caribbean, taking home the most Gold and Silver medals, as well as the coveted Caribbean Chef of the Year award, won by Chef Glendon Carty. The same year, the team also won numerous gold, silver, and bronze awards for pastry, bartending, and overall cooking.
