Aaron Gumbs is Sous Chef with Four Seasons Resort Anguilla.
Born and raised In Anguilla, Gumbs got his start baking pastries for the local high school. Gumbs later moved to London to study at Westminster Kingsway College. While there, he interned alongside fellow Anguilla native, Kerth Gumbs, who was then Head Chef at London’s Michelin-starred Ormer Mayfair.
Building on the knowledge he acquired at the university and his workplace experience, Gumbs joined Kosher Restaurant, Tish, as a Sous Chef. When Covid-19 hit, he decided to return home, accepting a Sous Chef position at Malliouhana in Anguilla.
In 2022, Gumbs brought his experience and talents to Four Seasons Resort Anguilla. For the past four years he has served as Sous Chef for the resort’s Salt restaurant.
In 2024, Gumbs and Four Seasons Resort Anguilla Executive Chef Manu represented Anguilla at the prestigious Cayman Cook Out. The next year, Gumbs was selected for a stint as a task force member at Four Seasons London.
