Chef Rakev Webster is Sous Chef at Cap Juluca, a Belmond Hotel, and a founder of Rtaste Innovations Private Catering.
Webster’s first introduction to the world of culinary arts was growing up cooking alongside his mom. His passion led him to the United Kingdom where he completed formal training at Le Corden Bleu UK in Hospitality Management and Culinary. Armed with his classically-trained skills, he further honed his talents at Miller & Carter in the UK, before joining Executive Chef Bruno Carvalho’s kitchen at Cap Juluca in Anguilla.
As a chef, Webster is most proud when guests’ plates return to the kitchen with a request for another serving. His believes good cooking is simple when you focus on what’s important, “Passion for flavor brings effortless results.”
