When it comes to bartending, Jamal Hodge believes only the highest quality taste and service will do. Not only does he mix, garnish and serve expertly crafted classic and trendy drinks tailored to each customer’s palate, he also shares his extensive knowledge of wines and rums in order to elevate the beverage experience.
Hodge holds advanced certifications in mixology, wine and hospitality from New York’s Bartending School, the American Sommelier Association, and the Tri-State Bartenders and is TIPS certified.
Before joining ÀNI Resorts, Hodge served as a Wine Steward and Bar Supervisor for CuisinArt Resort & Spa (now Aurora Anguilla) and held previous positions with Segue Staffing and Walters in New York. He also holds an impressive cache of honors competing with the Anguilla National Culinary Team at Miami’s Taste of the Caribbean, including Silver Medals for Best Rum Drink and a Gold Medal for Most Creative Drink.
Hodge will be competing in the inaugural Bartending Battle at the NCBA Beach BBQ + Basket & Bartending Battles at this year’s ACE.
