ACE is delighted that ACE Founding Member Janine Edwards will be returning as co-host for this year’s Anguilla Culinary Experience. An energetic and savvy businesswoman with decades of experience in tourism, real estate, luxury accommodations, business development and marketing, Janine has the innate ability to connect people and create opportunities for anyone lucky enough to know her.
As a business executive with Sunset Homes Anguilla, Janine has worked on a long list of tourism-hospitality projects on island, including Spyglass Hill Villa overlooking Sandy Ground, Long Bay Villas and Santosha Villa Estate after Hurricane Irma, and the island’s newest boutique resort, Tranquility Beach Anguilla, on Meads Bay Beach.
Janine is passionate about non-profit activism and giving back, making her the ideal host for ACE and its mission to support the island’s next generation of chefs. A Charted Corporate Director with a Master of Business Administration degree from Toronto York University, she generously shares her time and talents to support Anguilla’s youth, the arts, education, vulnerable populations, and her community, and serves on multiple boards and committees on island and beyond. In 2021, she co-coordinated the island’s first international orchestra event, welcoming the 40-member World Doctors Orchestra, conducted by Artistic Director Stefan Willich and featuring Grammy-nominated pianist and composer Emily Bear.
As Founder and CEO of JanineConnects.com, Janine tirelessly mentors non-profits, small businesses, community organizations and individuals to help them accomplish their goals and realize their dreams. She also serves as the voice and moderator for the Anguilla Hotel and Tourism Association’s weekly Radio Anguilla show, ‘Tourism is Key’.
Janine is a force for good in Anguilla and will be a dynamic addition to this year’s Anguilla Culinary Experience.
